Orlando Squeeze coming in hot, but Chicago Slice……

This past weekend was the last MLP event of the year….. Boy was there an uproar! Orlando squeeze was up 2-0 against Chicago Slice, where all they had to do was cut up the competition at the dream breaker..…. Eventually, Ben Johns and his team reigned supreme, and Orlando couldn’t Squeeze out the massive W! AND as Chicago residents, we are happy our team brought home a win for the city - we don’t get too many W’s from the Chicago Bears!

The Gearbox Pro Power Paddle is STILL taking the pickleball market by storm. Will it be banned next year? With an average of 57.8 MPH, that’s around 1mph less than the EVA foam paddles that are banned!!! The RPM’s are on the average mark for carbon face paddles this year, coming in at 1848.

7 Speed Up Mistakes (Do THIS Instead) 
The speed up is a key aspect of the game, especially if you are looking to take your game to a higher level! This will share 7 common mistakes and what you should do instead!

Mistake #1 - Attacking out of position. Instead of attacking when you’re pulled out wide, or your partner is out of position, ONLY attack when you know you are ready to defend the counterattack!

Mistake #2 - Speeding up with NO SPIN. You want to look like you’re about to hit a dink, and snap with your wrist - brushing in an upward motion to add spin. Topspin will bring the ball back down.

Mistake #3 - Attacking with no target area. Generally, you want to attack at the farthest point to which their paddle will reach the ball. Another spot is to try and jam up your opponent, which can lead them into giving you a put away shot!
