PADDLES
WHAT’S NEW

We’ve got some exciting news! We recently just purchased a new device that directly measures the spin on a pickleball. That’s right, no more manually calculating it on our end! With this device, comes more accuracy and faster turnaround time. We hope to get you results much quicker going forward so you can compare the newest paddles on the market.

Recently we tested the Vauraus. This pickleball paddle was created by Cliff Pickleball, another great content creator in the world of pickleball. He markets it as “the paddle that rules them all!” Even Tina Pisnik, an ex-professional, and current coach, women's ranked #29 tennis player uses this paddle! Maybe there’s something special we don’t know about Cliff’s magic?!

Here are the average stats we found in our testing!

MPH - 56.4 - Which is actually a tad above majority of thermoformed paddles in the market right now!

RPM - 1956 - This is on the higher end of paddles to date.

TIP OF THE WEEK
Pickleball PROS Get EVERYTHING back. HERE’S HOW!
Do you ever wonder how the pros get so many balls back? How their reaction time is so good? This video shares practical tips you can implement for fast improvement.

Ready Position - Essentially, the closer you get to the kitchen, the higher up you should have your paddle positioned. We want to keep our paddle where the ball is going to come!

From the Baseline - We want to have our knees bent, a wide stance and our paddle at Area 1! (our knees). This is because, if anything goes past our knees at the baseline, it’s going out!

Transition Zone - You still want your knees bent, a wide stance, and paddle in Area 1 still. The reason is, we are still most likely to get a ball at our feet again! We want to make sure our paddle is put where the hardest balls will be!

The Kitchen - Ideally, we don’t pop the ball up, but… It happens to all of us! The best paddle position during good, low balls, is in Area 3, around torso height, (JW Johnson is the one exception!)

Now, if your opponents are pressuring you with speed ups and targeting your feet at the kitchen, here’s a visual on how to make sure to win that point like a PRO!!!
