Engage is one of the most commonly known, and respected USA MADE brands in the pickleball world! Their recent Pro series really caught some attention because of the power while being a “Gen 1” paddle! Engage has always been on the higher swing weight category. Yet, heir new Pro 1 series has an elongated, curved top for faster hands! Engage has great warranties, customer service, and that certain crisp, yet springy feel for pop and power!

Our RPM test came out to - 2151

This is reaching top tier paddles with crazy spin! Definitely won’t disappoint if you’re a spin heavy player!

TIP OF THE WEEK
Are RETURNS More Important Than Serves?!

Beginner - Making sure you’re behind the baseline. You will wait and stop for the ball to come to you! Usually in this sequence:

Get ready, stop, hit, and move towards the kitchen line!

You want to stop and hit so your eyes aren’t moving, so you can hit a clean point of contact. A short compact swing will lower percentage of errors, and raise consistency. Paddle face should be open, to get a higher return with more “rainbow” effect to give yourself time!

Intermediate - Low paddle position, half swing (in between compact and big swing), a little bit more closed paddle face. Instead of stopping and hitting the return, do a jog through the ball simultaneously! This will give a more aggressive return, and ideally bringing you to the kitchen sooner!

Advanced - A fuller swing, running through the shot, closed paddle face, and more topspin on the ball making it a harder return for your opponent!
